Ninel Conde, the beautiful Spanish actress hailing from Mexico has come a long way since she developed a passion for acting and singing while in her formative years. Ninel who took acting lessons at Centro de Arte y Teatro Emilia Carranza in Mexico has also attended several workshops on acting conducted by veteran film director-actor Sergio Jimenez, celebrated actors Rene Pereira and Oscar Perez Dolz.

Beginning with a television soap opera "Bajo un mismo rostro: Beneath the Same Face" in 1995, Ninel showcasing her brilliant acting talents slowly moved up the ladder of Mexican film and television world. She has worked up her way to the top with several telenovelas or television soap operas such as "La antorcha encendida: The Torch Lit" {1996}, "Luz Clarita: Clear Light" {1996}, "Perla" {1998}, "Catalina y Sebastian: Caitlin and Sebastian" {1999}, "Besos prohibidos: Kisses Banned" {1999}, "Revancha, La: The Revenge" {2000}, "Como en el cine: As in cinema" {2001}, and "Fuego En La Sangre: Fire In The Blood". But 2004 still pushed her acting career upward a notch or two above.

The telenovela "Rebelde: Rebel" {2004-2006} has become one of the biggest hits catapulting her career to the heights of successes. She gave a wonderful performance as 'Alma Rey de Colucci', the famous model, singer, and a mother to a teenage daughter, who gets jealous at her mother's fame and name and so becomes a rebel. The story involves how as a mother, Ninel Conde copes up with her teenage jealous-filled rebellious daughter. The "Rebelde" was aired in several countries across the world such as Australia, Chile, Romania, Africa, and America; and also in countries where Spanish language soaps were being telecast.

Around this time, Ninel Conde has got a spot on the third edition of the reality show "Big Brother VIP" {2004}; and after 43 days of survival on the show, she became the seventh person to be voted out off the show. "Rebelde" and "Big Brother VIP" propelled her career and Ninel Conde became a known face across the world in several countries. In 2006, Ninel at last has arrived on the English Channels. She bagged a role on ABC's "Ugly Betty".

Ninel Conde, besides telenovelas, has appeared in films such as "7 mujeres, un homosexual y Carlos: 7 women, a homosexual and Carlos" {2004}, and later her acting teacher Sergio Jimenez-directed film "Mujeres Frente al Espejo: Women Facing the Mirror". Ninel Conde has also appeared on several talk shows such as 'Lo Que Callamos Las Mujeres', 'Gente con Chispa' {People with Chispa}, 'Al Derecho y Al Derbez', 'Sabado Gigante' and 'El Gordo y La Flaca'. Most of these talk shows in a way promoted her music and acting career further.

Ninel Conde, who loves music and singing, has in 2003 released a self-titled debut album called "Ninel Conde". The album featured songs of Joan Sebastian, the father of her boyfriend-singer-lyricist Jose Manuel Figueroa. The album also contained a new version of the Camilo Sesto and Angela Carrasco hit song "Callados", as well as songs with celebrities with Kiko, Roberto Livi, Fato, and Campos. The debut album earned her a Latin Grammy Award nomination for 'Best Norteno Album'.

In 2003, Ninel released her first album titled Ninel Conde which contains a new version of the Camilo Sesto and Angela Carrasco hit song "Callados", performed with her ex-boyfriend Jose Manuel Figueroa. This album contained songs of Joan Sebastian, father of Jose Manuel Figueroa, as well as songs with celebrities Fato, Roberto Livi, and Kiko Campos. This album received a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Norteno Album, which was awarded to Alicia Villarreal with the album "Cuando El Corazón se Cruza".

Ninel Conde has won Sol de Oro {Golden Sun Award} for her performance in telenovela "Catalina y Sebastian: Caitlin and Sebastian"; and Palmas de Oro {Golden Palms Award} for her work in "Mujeres Frente al Espejo: Women Facing the Mirror".
